“If you can’t or if you don’t dare to make a dive on your own, you shouldn’t make the dive!” This statement applies to every diver and every dive!
Solo diving is still abit of a taboo. But, many people make solo dives without realizing it. They dive with young kids, or with absolute beginners etc.. You can’t expect these buddy to rescue you when you get in trouble.

During the SDI SOLO DIVER course you will learn all the skills needed to rescue yourself in most situations.
Naturally you are qualified to dive on your own after finishing this training but most of all you are a much saver buddy! During the training you’ll learn all about dive planning, gas management, etc.. During the dives you will be trained in some extra skills which are essential to solo diver.

The training consist of three theorie sessions, and 4 open water dives. You can combine this training with the SDI Open Water Sidemount Diver course. You’ll then have one more theorie session and two more open water dives.

To join this course you must be 21 years old and you must have 100 logged dives. The course will be held in Vinkeveen(NL).
